CHDG Boiler Feed Pump BB5

The BB5 series pumps are horizontal, multistage centrifugal pumps with single or double casings, segmental design, and co-directional impeller arrangement, designed according to API 610 10th Edition “Centrifugal Pumps for Petroleum, Heavy Chemical and Natural Gas Industries” standard, with horizontal centerline support.

Main Features

Flanges conform to ANSI/DIN/ISO standards
Mechanical seal cavity dimensions conform to ISO21049 (API682)
Rotors are designed in series or back-to-back configurations
For low NPSHA conditions, a first-stage double-suction impeller or inducer structure can be used
For large-scale pumps, the entire internal unit can be disassembled as a whole with the bearing housing and mechanical seal housing, and reinstalled as a whole after maintenance, saving maintenance time
Optional self-lubricating and sliding bearings – thrust bearing design, with optional additional lubrication system
Axial force balancing can be achieved using a balancing drum or symmetrical impeller arrangement
